This area was first settled up to five and a half thousand years ago in the Stone Age. Later Slavic tribes settled here and built a hillfort on a rocky promontory overlooking the Vltava River. Since that time this place has remained more or less rural in nature. Even the name of our project, Čámovka, hides a reference to this long history, as Čimice originally meant “village of the people of Čám.” That’s no coincidence. We have a respect for history, and your future home is firmly rooted there.

You can sweat out your stress on the squash court or keep fit with a brisk walk on the nearby marked hiking trails. If you enjoy cycling or skating, be sure to check out the cycling path through Troja to Zbraslav. The kids will love a visit to the zoo or botanical gardens. A footbridge over the Vltava in Troja lets you go all the way to Stromovka or Letná. Stop by the river to rent a paddle boat or take a boat ferry and make the most of the river’s beauty. Art lovers should be sure not to miss the gallery in the Trojský zámeček and theater at Divadlo Za plotem in Bohnice. Whatever you’re in the mood for, you’re sure to find something in the area.
